Quick Start

Overview

Imperium: Reclaimed is a game of empire and civilization building whose goal is to wield influence through economic, military, and political means. You must guide your populace, build your economy, develop a military, explore the universe, and settle new territory.

Your family has risen to prominence and been commissioned nobility of the lowest rank. As part of this commission, the Emperor has granted you a fiefdom. While your homeworld is secure, the remaining systems are infested with feral Dahak, humanity's mortal enemy. Your task is to liberate these worlds and establish outposts.

The initial release of Imperium: Reclaimed is a single player scenario that may be played through multiple times. The next release, currently in development, will introduce multiplayer features that build upon the fief you create in the single player phase.

This Quick Start introduces the core concepts needed to play the game. However, there are many additional features and subtleties to be discovered as you enjoy the game again and again. You can reset the game at any time by pressing Reset in the upper right corner of the game client or from the Account menu.

Create Account

From the Login Screen new players must select the Create Account button. Choose and enter a unique account name in the Login field. Your in-game name will be different from your login. Next, enter a password in the Password field and retype it in the Confirm Password field.

You may also provide all or part of the information requested in the Contact Details section. While this information is optional, technical support cannot be provided without a valid e-mail address. Your Contact Details can be updated or deleted in-game from the Accounts button on the main menu..

When you have entered the requested information, press the Submit button.

Create Profile

The next, and last, step before entering the game is to choose a first name, a family name (also known as a last name or surname), and gender for your ruler. You will be identified in-game and in the rankings by your family name. Accordingly, your family name must be unique. The gender selection is optional.

Once all fields are complete, press the Create Profile button and the game client will load.

Time

Time is advanced in the game by pressing the End Turn button. You may end your turn by pressing either the ~ or Enter button on your keyboard.
